New York Scholarships
Here's a list of what's available:

Tuition Assistance Program (TAP)
TAP is the largest grant program in the State of New York, and offers
up to $5,000 per academic year to eligible New York residents
based on individual and family NYS net taxable income. Students can
apply for TAP by filling out the Free Application for Federal Student
Aid FAFSA) form. |

Graduate and Professional Student
If you are a NY graduate student, good news, there are a variety of
scholarship and other financial aid programs available in New York
ranging from $500 to $18,000 per academic year! |

Aid For Part-Time Study
The Aid for Part-Time Study (APTS) program offers up to $2,000
per academic year to part-time New York undergraduate students at
participating colleges and universities. |
 |
Memorial Scholarships
Memorial Scholarships provide financial assistance to the children
and spouses of deceased firefighters, police officers, and emergency
medical workers who have died in the line of duty while serving in
New York State. |
 |
Military Service Recognition Scholarship (MSRS)
The MSRS scholarship provides financial assistance to children and
spouses of members of the U.S. armed forces who have died or became
disabled on or after August 2, 1990 in the line of duty and were also
residents of New York State. |

NYS Scholarship for Academic Excellence
The NYS Scholarship for Academic Excellence offers up to $1,500
per academic year, for up to five years, to undergraduate students
enrolled in NY educational institutions. |

New York Lottery Leaders of Tomorrow Scholarship
The NY Lottery Leaders of Tomorrow Scholarship will award one student
from every public and non-public school that applies a $1,000
scholarship for four years. |
 |
NYS Volunteer Recruitment Service Scholarship
The NYS Volunteer Recruitment Service Scholarship provides financial
aid to new volunteers in fire companies and ambulance squads enrolled
in NY educational institutions. |
 |
Regents Health Care Opportunity
The NYS Regents Health Care Opportunity Scholarship provides $10,000
scholarships to New York dental and medical students for up to four
years. |
 |
Regents Professional Opportunity Scholarship
The NYS Regents Professional Scholarship provides between $1,000
and $5,000 to NY undergraduate students pursuing one of several
professional careers. |

State Aid to Native Americans
The Aid to Native Americans program awards up to $2,000 per
academic year to full-time students who are enrolled members of a
New York State tribe, or the child of an enrolled member of a New
York State tribe. |
 |
Veterans Tuition Awards
The Veterans Tuition Awards (VTA) offers up to $1,000 per semester
to full-time students, and up to $500 to part-time students
who are Vietnam, Persian Gulf, or Afghanistan veterans enrolled at
an approved educational institution. |
 |
World Trade Center Memorial Scholarship
The World Trade Center Memorial Scholarship ensures that the families
and dependants of the innocent victims who died or were disabled due
to the terrorist attacks on the United States on September 11, 2001
will have access to a college education. |
