Here's a list of what's available:

Athletic
Scholarships
Provides for the cost of tuition and fees to student-athletes pursuing
a higher education in New Mexico. Eligibility requirements vary depending
on the educational institution offering the scholarship. |

Competitive
Scholarships
Provides outstanding non-resident students the opportunity to enroll
in public educational institutions in New Mexico at in-state tuition
and fee rates. |
 |
Legislative
Endowment Scholarships
Up to $2,500 per year to financially needy undergraduate students
attending New Mexico educational institutions. |
 |
Lottery Success
Scholarships
Scholarship provides up to 100% of college tuition for New Mexico
graduating high school seniors who meet the programs eligibility
requirements. |
 |
New Mexico
Scholars
Provides for the cost of tuition, books, and fees to graduating New
Mexico high school seniors to attend one of the following New Mexico
private colleges: The College of Santa Fe, St. John's College in Santa
Fe, or the College of the Southwest. |

Senior Citizen's
Reduced Tuition
Provides for a $5 per credit reduction in tuition costs (up to 6 credits
per semester) for New Mexico Senior Citizens to attend postsecondary
educational institutions in New Mexico. |

Student Choice
Grants
Provides financial awards to needy New Mexico undergraduate students
who are attending the following NM educational institutions: The College
of Santa Fe, St. John's College in Santa Fe, and the College of the
Southwest. |

Student Incentive
Grants
Up to $2,500 per year to financially needy New Mexico undergraduate
students. |
 |
3% Scholarships
Provides for the cost of tuition and fees for eligible New Mexico undergraduate
and graduate students. |

Vietnam Veterans' Scholarships
Provides for tuition, fees, and book expenses for Vietnam Veterans who are New Mexico
residents attending a postsecondary educational institution in New Mexico. |

Work Study
This program provides funding to create employment opportunities for eligible New Mexico
undergraduate students. |
Graduate Loans & Scholarships

Allied Health
Student Loan-for-Service Athletic Scholarships
Up to $12,000 per year to New Mexico health care students if they
will practice as an allied health professional in a designated area
in New Mexico. |

WICHE Loan-for-Service
Provides loans to New Mexico students to enroll in out-of-state graduate
programs not offered in New Mexico with the condition that they return
to New Mexico to practice in their licensed field. |
 |
Graduate Scholarship
Program
Up to $7,500 per year to New Mexico graduate students enrolled at
a New Mexico four-year postsecondary educational institution. |
 |
Health Professional
Loan Repayment Program
Up to $12,500 per year to help repay student loans for New Mexico
health professionals if they will practice full-time in a medical
shortage area in New Mexico for two years. |
 |
Medical Student
Loan-for-Service
Up to $12,000 per year in educational loans to New Mexico medical
students if they will practice in a medical shortage area in New Mexico.

Minority Doctoral
Assistance Program
Up to $25,000 per year to New Mexico minority graduate students under
the condition that they will teach their selected academic discipline
at the sponsoring educational institution. |

Nursing Student
Loan-for-Service
Up to $12,000 per year in educational loans to New Mexico nursing
students if they will practice as a nurse in a medical shortage area
in New Mexico. |
 |
Oseteopathic
Medical Student Loan-for-Service
Up to $12,000 per year in educational loans to New Mexico osteopathic
medical students if they will practice as an osteopathic physician
in a medical shortage area in New Mexico. |
 |
New Mexico
Teachers Loan-for-Service
Up to $4,000 per year in educational loans to New Mexico students
if they will provide teaching services in a public preschool, elementary,
or secondary school in New Mexico
for a specific amount of time. |
