OBJECTIVES: Need help understanding this page?
To serve as the central Energy Information Administration (EIA) office for providing energy information and assistance in support of Federal agencies, State and local governments, the academic community, industrial and commercial organizations, and the general public. Also serves as the central clearinghouse for review and registration of EIA information products, providing editorial, publication, and dissemination services.

USES AND USE RESTRICTIONS:

NEIC is a comprehensive source for energy data, analyses, forecasts, and referral assistance provided through the following: (1) EIA Internet sites; (2) National telephone inquiry service; (3) public information reference center; (4) response to written energy questions; and (5) distribution of Energy Information Administration (EIA) publications.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

Applicant Eligibility:   Federal, State, and local governments; academic and other nonprofit institutions; industrial and commercial organizations; and the general public may apply.

Beneficiary Eligibility:   Federal, State, and local governments; academic and other nonprofit institutions; industrial and commercial organizations; and the general public will benefit.
