Enforcement
of all Federal laws and related regulations designed to promote
safety of all railroads including Federal Track Safety Regulations,
Safety Appliance and Freight Car Safety Standards, Hazardous Materials
Regulations, Employee Hours of Service and Power Brake Rules. Investigation
of safety-related complaints and evaluation of petitions requesting
waivers from standards, rules, and regulations.
