The following programs are administered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the Social Security Administration (SSI), as well as other Federal agencies to provide various types of insurance policies to eligible property owners, crop producers and individuals.

10.450 Crop Insurance - Objective: To promote the national welfare by improving the economic stability of agriculture through a sound system of crop insurance and providing the means for the research and experience helpful in devising and establishing such insurance. 10.451 Noninsured Assistance - Objective: To provide crop loss assistance comparable to the catastrophic risk protection level of crop insurance to producers of commercial crops or other agricultural commodities for which the catastrophic risk protection level of crop insurance is not available.

12.113 State Memorandum of Agreement Program for the Reimbursement of Technical Services - Objective: To reimburse each State and territory for their costs incurred by providing technical services in support of Department of Defense Environmental Restoration Program activities. This program seeks to facilitate State and territory participation in expediting cleanup at DoD hazardous waste sites, and to foster relations between States, military services, Defense agencies and DoD. 14.175 Adjustable Rate Mortgages - Objective: To provide mortgage insurance for an adjustable rate mortgage which offers lenders more assurance of long term profitability than a fixed rate mortgage, while offering consumer protection features. Click here for more information

44.001 Credit Union Charter, Examination, Supervision, and Insurance - Objective: To offer to groups that have a common bond the opportunity to establish and operate their own credit unions. Click here for more information

86.001 Pension Plan Termination Insurance - Objective: To encourage the continuation and maintenance of voluntary private pension plans for the benefit of their participants, to provide for the timely and uninterrupted payment of pension benefits to participants and beneficiaries in plans covered by the PBGC, and to maintain premiums charged by the PBGC at the lowest level consistent with carrying out its obligations. 96.001 Social Security_Disability Insurance - Objective: To replace part of the earnings lost because of a physical or mental impairment, or a combination of impairments, severe enough to prevent a person from working.

96.002 Social Security_Retirement Insurance - Objective: Monthly cash benefits are paid to eligible retired workers and their eligible auxiliaries. There are no restrictions on use of benefits by a beneficiary, although the right to future benefits is not transferable or assignable. Click here for more information

96.003 Social Security_Special Benefits for Persons Aged 72 and Over - Objective: To assure some regular income to certain persons age 72 and over who had little or no opportunity to earn Social Security protection during their working years. Click here for more information

96.004 Social Security_Survivors Insurance - Objective: To replace part of the earnings lost to dependents because of the worker's death. Click here for more information

96.006 Supplemental Security Income - Objective: To ensure a minimum level of income to persons who have attained age 65 or are blind or disabled, and whose income and resources are below specified levels. Click here for more information

93.773 Medicare_Hospital Insurance - Objective: To provide hospital insurance protection for covered services to persons age 65 or above, to certain disabled persons and to individuals with chronic renal disease. Click here for more information

93.774 Medicare_Supplementary Medical Insurance - Objective: To provide medical insurance protection for covered services to persons age 65 or over, to certain disabled persons and to individuals with chronic renal disease who elect this coverage. Click here for more information
